The second day of the trilateral stock-taking meeting started off with @NEPAD_Agency, @ccttfaorg & @GIZAfricanUnion each reflecting on their strategic goals for the remainder of the partnership period.
@NEPAD_Agency@ccttfaorg@GIZAfricanUnion Participants from @NEPAD_Agency highlighted that the project’s corridor approach is a vehicle “for regional integration and economic transformation across the region. They promote the free movement of people and goods".
After two years of implementing the Green Infrastructure Corridors for Intra-African Trade project, the trilateral partners @NEPAD_Agency, @ccttfaorg & @GIZAfricanUnion have come together to take stock of their collaboration.
Following Malawi's accession to the CCTTFA Agreement on December 1, 2023, the Executive Secretary Adv. @FloryOKANDJU led a delegation of experts from the Central Corridor @ccttfaorg , AUDA-NEPAD @NEPAD_Agency and GIZ @GIZAfricanUnion to Lilongwe to meet with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and relevant stakeholders. The meeting's goal was to identify potential projects that align with both Malawi's needs and the broader goals of the Central Corridor for funding and implementation.
This follow-up visit to Malawi signifies CCTTFA's commitment to support Malawi's integration into the Central Corridor and fostering regional development.
