@elonmusk Democracy has done fine for 250 years without the Save Act.
All of a sudden, it's existential because Republicans are gonna lose the midterms? What a joke.
The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.
Bezos is worth $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.
The people who need help are not the problem.
It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage
@Moms4Liberty I don't consider taking care of my children a job. That makes it sound like a chore and a gross way to speak about raising our young. A job is a task. My child is my life. Huge difference.
It seems a lot of Americans are more angry about poorer people taking full advantage of the SNAP program than they are about richer people taking full advantage of the tax system…
@NBSaphierMD My job is accounting, my life is my children. My children are not a job to me. It's weird that ya'll keep calling raising children a job, like they are a chore. Raising children is a blessing and a privilege and work. But it's not a job.
@MattWalshBlog and my own bills and life to pay for. She has worked her entire life until MS took that ability away from her. Is she supposed to just die?
@MattWalshBlog My mom is disabled due to MS. Her annual prescriptions are over $100,000. How are my brother and I supposed to cover those costs? That is prescriptions alone, not including hospital visits, doctors visits, tests, etc. We already pay thousands a year out of pocket. I have 2 kids
@TraditionSarah Taxing the billionaires you lick the boots of would solve the American struggle a lost faster than dictating what poor people buy on SNAP.
@AwkwardcL@ChrisAnn222@GZzyzyx@SaladBarFan They aren't lying....they just don't understand how to read graphs. So at the very least, uneducated. She is taking the maximum standard income for the month and saying that is the benefit amount 🤦♀️
@ChrisAnn222@GZzyzyx@SaladBarFan Girl you are looking at the number that is the maximum income standard. Not the benefit amount🤦♀️ For a family of 6 the maximum entitlement is $1,421 a month.
