On 29 July 2002, during Op Parakram, the IAF 🇮🇳 employed offensive air-strikes against Pakistani occupied positions 🇵🇰 for the first time since the Kargil War 🤯

-8x Mirage 2000s struck Pakistani-occupied bunkers at Loonda Post in the Machil sector using 1,000-lb precision-guided bombs.
-Targets: 4 Pakistani-occupied bunkers and associated positions, which were completely destroyed.
-28 Pakistani soldiers were killed in the airstrike+support fire by Ground IA troops (155mm bofors artillery).
-The post was re-captured successfully.

This was first offensive use of IAF air power against Pakistani forces after Kargil. Also, its Just a reminder that the IAF's post-Kargil coercive air-power playbook did not begin in 2019. It began in 2002.

On LoC P 5353 is smoother on pak side that's why they took contol over there but it's difficult terrian with ridge line nearly 90° from ind side that's IA found so hard to captured that point
But On 10 June 2002 IA somehow reached at 5353 after targeting pak soldiers on P5353

Over time, protest turned into full blown militancy, and groups such as the BLA, BLM, and Majeed Brigade emerged. Today, large parts of Balochistan are increasingly outside the effective control of the state, and the movement is pushing further toward the Balkanization of Pakistan.

4. Gilgit-Baltistan protested. People were killed, abducted, and silenced. Now even there, reports of militancy are emerging.

5. Kashmiris are protesting now. Their activists are being killed and abducted. If the same playbook continues, the outcome will not be different.

The Pakistani military regime keeps repeating the same failed formula and then act surprised when resistance emerges.

Pakistan’s biggest enemy is not its neighbors. It is its own military regime.
