I received a great question about $GPC:

"What exactly is ECR, and how does it work?"

ECR is essentially answering one question:

"Is the real energy we’re producing enough to support the system at its current scale?"

We have GPC tokens in the market, and we have real solar energy being produced.

ECR measures the relationship between the two — not to fix the price, but to ensure the system is grounded in real-world output.

Think of it like this:

Imagine a bakery selling vouchers.
Each voucher represents a GPC token.
ECR asks:
"Is the bakery actually producing enough bread to justify the number of vouchers in circulation?"

If production is strong → ECR is high → system is healthy
If production drops → ECR falls → the protocol starts restricting expansion
That’s where the ≥ 0.25 threshold comes in during Phase 2.

It acts as a minimum activation level — proving that there is sufficient real energy backing before the system expands.
Before reaching this level:

• No new issuance
• No activation of key mechanisms

And this isn’t based on promises — it’s enforced by the system itself.
