Not certain the British Library's choice of paper to mark St Patrick's Day was appropriate. "Blarney", the "Loyal Comic Journal" featured a front page portrait of Queen Victoria, advocated "the integrity of the Empire" while promising to strangle agitators. Not many laughs, eh?
