Ripple just signed a strategic partnership with Meritz Securities, one of South Korea's biggest brokerages.

Ripple President Monica Long was at the signing in Seoul. The two firms will look at bringing Ripple's tokenization tools and Ripple Custody, its service that safely holds digital assets for big institutions, into Korea's stock and capital markets.

Meritz says it will roll this out step by step as Korea's crypto rules develop. It's already exploring spot crypto ETFs, tokenized securities, and Korean won stablecoins.

That's another major Korean financial firm lining up with Ripple this week, right after several Korean banks showed their Ripple plans at XRP Seoul.

🔔 EVERNORTH DELAYS #XRP TREASURY NASDAQ DEBUT TO OCTOBER 12

Evernorth has pushed back the expected Nasdaq debut of its XRP treasury company due to what it described as an administrative delay that is not expected to affect the closing.

The business combination with Armada Acquisition Corp. II is now expected to close around October 9, with the combined company’s shares expected to begin trading on Nasdaq under $XRPN on October 12, subject to customary closing conditions and Nasdaq listing requirements; shareholders have already approved the merger.
