@mattbaran @LA_Multi_Fam Yep. There is a bunch of stuff that is unseen because it’s not reported on. One thing is all that never developed retail. Another is the slow but steady decay in the restaurant/hospitality marketplace. Yet another is the ongoing lack of paving maintenance in Sac city & Cty.

@SacAppraiser Now that you mention it, my son only bought because his wife wanted to own. He made a good case for renting and putting that DP in the stock market and letting it compound. Rates are the big problem, but we are reaping consequences of years of poor financial decisions.
