@BBCLancsSport At the start of May when “ideally” a manager would be in place, Michael O’Neill was in charge. Tony Mowbray returned on 5 June. Any proper recruitment process is already in play notwithstanding the change of a manager or coach. That’s a principal part of having a DoF.

@Leap_year_man @gamstjones12 To my mind that’s not an unreasonable approach. Danger comes, I suppose, if he moves and the club have a windfall which lifts the prices. I’d do that if I was selling to Rovers (inflate a price) and knew the Wharton money was in. Like Boro with Hackney cash.
