@TheHashOfIt Oh I remember - it was horrific, but my response was bigger-picture. Alfie’s original post claimed that our society relies on underpaying workers. Who gets to decide what an appropriate wage is? The worker? The employer? The unskilled laborer? The professional athlete?

@teacherquit I completely agree. You should not be told to build relationships with ALL of your students. Not all kids are going to be successful and we shouldn’t try to force success on them. And besides, some of them are just plain unlikable - and in middle school, they smell bad!
