We’re concerned about #Bill23 and you should be too. #Mississauga is ready to take BOLD action to help Ontario get more homes built faster – but not at all costs.

TAs and RAs make up 1/3 of the workforce at McMaster University, yet their wages only account for 3.7% of the pay roll.
And to make it worse, they raked in $232 million in surplus during just ONE YEAR… why can’t they help create a #BetterMac and pay workers what they deserve?

There you have it folks, Ontario Conservatives are the first Canadian government to use the Notwithstanding clause to override Constitutionally protected Labour Rights.
Quite a day in Canadian Labour law and Constitutional history.
Today I called Premier Ford and his ministers liars for the lies they have told about their approach to the education system and to workers. Ford says he is doing everything he can to keep our schools open but he is beating up on the people we need to keep them open. ..2 #onted
@ONT_Dad Did some math this morning on behalf of my CUPE colleagues!
Minimum wage has increased 40% since June 1st, 2014
Their wages have increased 8.5% since 2012
They’re asking for 28.3% less than the minimum wage increase during that time and are losing their human rights 🤯
Let's not forget that Ford had no issue giving 73 MPPs on his side of the House a pay bump of $16,000.
But education workers earning $40,000 or less are greedy and unreasonable?
Make it make sense, @fordnation.

📢Tell the Ford Conservatives: DON’T BE A BULLY!
Education workers deserve a raise, staff increases, and significant investments in the services that our communities rely on.

@BellevilleON Why is this parking restriction not signed anywhere as well? How are visitors to Belleville supposed to know about this abnormal parking restriction? Has council assessed the negative impact this has on tourism and limiting people visiting family during non-winter holidays?
@BellevilleON Has the council weighed the impact this has on century homes and student housing where there is often limited parking to begin with, especially as intergenerational living and/or more students sharing accommodations have been steadily increasing over the past decade?
