@cityburlington This survey masterfully avoids asking residents anything useful. How do you intend to get around #BurlOn for the next 10 years? Try that question.
With 2 locations in - percentages look consistent. @likemike4mayor may have vote split @RickGoldring out of the Mayor's chair. We don't know if they are south or north locations - can't be sure.
With 1 hour until polls close #BurlON you have enough time to check websites and walk over. Do it! If you don't for the next 4 years when you are asking: How is this happening in our city? - You have your answer. Thanks to those that have already voted! https://t.co/i1SjLykcAd
@likemike4mayor I would not say I'm spreading fear of overdevelopment with a 6 floor limit. I'd say I'm setting a reasonable limit for #burlON https://t.co/HCisopep8b
@kimcalderbank@burlingtoncofc Low rise Intensifiction might increase affordability, the high-rises don't because concrete and rebar is so expensive. https://t.co/HCisopep8b
Fyi #BurlOn I not going to amend the New Offical Plan. I'm going to get it appealed on the basis that the Provincial Policy Statement requires underlying plans done - which were not. @MariannMeedWard suggests modifying it after approval. For years that will leave high-rises ok.
@TaylorChrissy_ @cityburlington@CentroGarden@MariannMeedWard@Ward2Lisa You should be a 3rd party advertiser to send an e-mail like this. E-mail is almost free, but it's not totally free. Mass mailing software costs money. The clerk doesn't get to set a "free limit" even a single cent in cost should trigger the 3rd party registration.
"It's not 26 buildings downtown #BurlOn. Every single strip mall is marked for condos - all of them - every place we shop. Three massive new powerplant cities of 30k people around every go station. All down Fairview, all up Brant - It's everywhere."
