Supplying dealer @martins_group not interested - so all a consumer can do to avoid the same danger is not buy from @UKVolkswagen again…! @autocar @AutoExpress have you come across this before? @MartinSLewis do we as consumers have no come back…?

Apparently this is normal wear and tear for 12k miles in a @VW ID4 GTX and not uneven. Another bad experience with @UKVolkswagen saying it’s not acceptable - Supplying dealer @martins_group VW Camberley refused to contribute. Only positive @CaffynsGroup VW Eastbourne super!

These were the @Bridgestone Turanza tyres supplied with vehicle. Two rear tyres photographed still on car. We are high mileage drivers for 8 tyres per year - £2000! Previous iD3 sold on original tyres with 17k miles with tread left!

Experience in the past with @LandRover_UK has been a gesture of goodwill along with checking the vehicle is actually safe if there was a problem. @UKVolkswagen not interested - if I had not had a puncture, I fear our first knowledge would have been a motorway blowout!

A few people have asked for the follow up from this - @UKVolkswagen have come back saying that the brand feel it’s fair wear and tear - after speaking with people within the industry, at other manufacturers, there is clearly something not right here. @Bridgestone
