Thank you for the responses and help. Any O- blood donated within the "Kinki block" are supplied to hospitals in Kyoto. There is no need to go to Kyoto to donate, and please do NOT contact the hospital directly. Thank you for your help.

He is in Kyoto No. 2 Red Cross Hospital and desperately needs type O-negative blood for a chance to live.

A good friend is at the No. 2 Red Cross Hospital (京都第二赤十字��院) He is in a bad way and may need blood. O- blood type is rare in Japan and there seems to be a shortage in Kyoto.
