The Chicago Hunger Strikers are now in their 22nd day. Today, 10 of us in San Francisco will join in a one-day solidarity hunger strike. We stand with @CHIhungerstrike in asking that @chicagosmayor#DenyThePermit and #StopGeneralIron. The Southeast Side deserves clean air!
@GregMcElroy Do you think field storming is getting out of control? I understand storming the field for a generational win like Tennessee over Bama. But Carolina stormed the field after beating a 4 loss Duke team. Same Clemson over Syracuse in 2018. Do you think this is too much?
@OrinKerr I’m shocked too but I like it 😃 Very creative. Wouldn’t an easier route be to say that the terms could create a reasonable expectation of privacy? Maybe there’s already about that…if so I forgot.
I encouraged Halloween costumes for class Monday, and this was a favorite: @GregMargida as a typical American adult as seen by the proverbial visitor from Mars described in Riley v. California.

Crime fears trump civil liberties concerns: SFPD gets approval to expand live surveillance with a 7-4 vote at Board of Supervisors. Cops can watch cams in real time to investigate crimes, in life-threatening emergencies and at mass events. Background: https://t.co/G5sjov6EAd
@onlyfanons@BrookeJenkinsSF@SFYD Nice backtrack. She almost said that she wasn’t aware enough of “implications of decisions” at 16 🤔 She quickly narrowed the scope to decisions about politics only.
POV: You witness one of the “aggravated assaults” at #PeoplesPark that UC Berkeley police keep warning students about…they gift-wrapped the backhoe 😂 😭
We need to decriminalize cell phones in prison. I used my cell phone in prison to raise my daughter and document the human rights abuses I experienced at San Quentin. Family connections help people return home safely, not isolation.
@becauseberkeley I wondered where all those branches came from. Thanks for the info! Really cool to see how the People’s Park community has stepped up to respond.
