#NUFC#F1#Emotions#Politics Not always in that order, not always right but never knowingly proven wrong. Life & having an opinion are pointless if not shared.
It needs to be 100% with an additional 50% boost. You should be allowed to use an insane nitro boost effectively when you want to whilst still having having an F1 car the rest of the time.
I'm hearing some interesting admissions off the back of Suzuka - namely, that there's a growing awareness within the FIA that the 50/50 split has been the wrong direction.
It's understood that, in the short-term, energy deployment limits are being looked at while, longer-term, a change in the ICE vs. electrical split.
Getting the drivers and teams in alignment is a hurdle to clear, with the teams not all agreeing with their drivers on the issues, but there is an awareness now that changes are needed. #F1 #JapaneseGP
Alternatively he’s 0.5 seconds faster than his teammate and the other cars driving with that engine are even further off the grid. Whilst Alpine are even able to pull ahead with the Merc flexi engine.
So… IT WAS THE CAR ALL ALONG.
The “gEnErAtiOnAL tALeNt” who could supposedly put a Haas on pole, according to the same old toxic paddock dinosaurs.
The Max myth getting exposed in real time. 🤡

🚨Mercedes engineers explain that the driver is more important than the software. :
"George invested an incredible amount of work to understand what he needs to do to use the energy optimally. He was also the fastest because he understands better than others how to adapt his driving style."

Apparently a world wide audience of 400,000,000 were expected to watch that game last night.
The world heard SJP, saw NUFC put on a great performance & saw the golden boy of Barca play 2nd fiddle to Lewis Hall.
They are talking about Newcastle United today.
They’re popular compared with watching FP3. That’s the context of them. Potentially a bucket load of points for Ferrari in them unless everyone else can figure out launching off the line.
Formula 1 says SPRINTS are hugely popular among fans, but I see a lot of pushback. I, for one, am not a huge fan of the Sprint. How do you think they can change the regulations to make the SPRINT more of 100% push from start to finish? An engine just for Sprints? A special tyre?
Pleased for Audi getting a points finish. Unsurprised M4X got back into the top 6. There’s an extra 55m of starting line straight to play with and two goes at it with a sprint. Should be all very interesting at turn one in Shanghai. #F1
There was soo much going on in that race. The racing doesn’t quite make up for the farce that is qualifying. However qualifying clearly doesn’t matter when the race start is just 90’s drama. Great to see you can overtake in Australia. It might make closer tracks lively. #F1
@TheVocalHero And that’s my point, he was looking down and hit the fan. It’ll be normalised tech in the next ten years or so. I’d imagine F1 could lead this development. Seeing as they can power a house every two laps easily with regen. They can do so much.
I don’t know why F1 hasn’t brought in smart tech on the helmet. Imagine getting a read of your battery deployment/key stats whilst driving on a head up display.
lando about max’s criticism of the new cars: “i mean, max is normally always right.”
“i’m looking at my steering wheel; that's why i don't see the debris, i have to look at what speed i’m going to get at the end of the straight and know if i need to brake 30 metres earlier or 10 metres later.”

It’s the same logic as to why Putin invaded Ukraine. There’s an awareness of the consequences to the wider world. Inflation particularly food inflation along with oil & gas which further spirals food inflation was an expected result. Same with the USA & oil/gas inflation/supply
The #F1 engine Regs should have been about a 50/50 engine yes. But with 50% of the ICE engine capable of matching at least 75% of the old engine. That way you’ve got extra spice from the EV power rather than what it is now. Or in other words everyone having a cheat coded Merc PU.
Urgh it’s going to be beyond boring listening to George drone on with extra mic time at the front of the grid.
Well done to the FIA for allowing Mercedes to have a bigger engine than everyone else. (They’ve clearly built a car around that)
C’mon Gabriel Bortoleto!! Very impressive with Audi getting into the top ten on the first try. There’s something to really like about this team.
Yawn fest at the front of the grid unless Ferrari have concrete in their sandbags.
There’s still a small part of me that would love Aston Martin to be bluffing and smash this qualification.
I hope Mercedes haven’t got a full 0.5-1 second advantage. It feels uninteresting watching that era again.
But these questions daft or serious as they are is Aus F1.
