@bobwojnowski Outside of DeBrincat gifting himself to us, Yzerman has done nothing in trades or free agency that would be considered bold. The Wings are a rudderless team. His success in Tampa looks to be due to Verbeek. Can’t believe the damage he’s done to this team and his legacy
@KeithGave Plus 22 player. The west was weaker than the east, but still played well against the better teams. For a team lacking any semblance of a serviceable Center after Larkin, that analysis is open to questioning. Pro scouting department has been less than stellar in the past decade
@HockeySnobElite But Yzerman, his staff, and Ilitch are obligated to be stop putting an awful product on the ice. I was a kid during the Dead Things 70’s-early 80’s. Nothing changed until Jimmy Devellano became the GM. It pains me greatly, but Yzerman has failed at a GM as has Ilitch as an owner
@RegionalTVCat@IffyTheDopester My first year of Little League was in 1976. Had a Sears Ted Williams glove. The end of year father and sons game was awesome. We kids had a trash can filled with Faygo pop/soda and the dads had a trash can filled with Stroh’s beer. Smiles all around.
@OleTimeHardball 100% yes. Traditional and advanced stats say yes. Also passes the eye test and part of the greatest double play combo in baseball history.
@20th_Centurygal Cheap Trick at Harpo’s in Detroit, 1986. They brought a stadium sound system for a club gig. My ears were in pain for a week straight. Great show though,
@DonovanKasp@VinnysCorner1 Glad you listened him. Sat next to him in a class at Western Michigan University. The prof took attendance. Always mispronounced his name, “Smange?”
@woodwardsports@Lions@CoachKerryon Young man had no tread left after Auburn ran him to death. Loved the player, but knew he wouldn’t last long in the NFL
