On my radar for next week: $LUNR ($16.14) space tech, down 52% from its high. RSI 22
Planning to sell the $15 Put for ~$33 premium. 7-day expiry.
Strike ~7% OTM.
If assigned, I buy a $7B+ market cap company at a discount. If not, I keep the premium.
I like combining the Wheel strategy with stocks showing extreme RSI readings.
Next candidate drops tomorrow.
Not financial advice. Just documenting my learning journey.

Day 3 of learning options trading.
Saturday analysis: two stocks for next week's Wheel.
TE ($6.85) — 4.62% weekly yield, $650 cash. Industrial sector, big correction.
MARA ($12.60) — 2.50% yield, $1,200 cash. Bitcoin miner, liquid.
Both expire Friday. Both OTM puts. No earnings.
The process: analyze Saturday → verify Sunday → sell puts Monday.

First Wheel cycle closed.
3 puts, all expired OTM.
Sold SOFI $17.5 Put → +$44
Sold MARA $11.5 Put → +$23
Bought NU $11.5 Put → -$52 ← mistake
Premiums: +$15. Commissions: -$2.33.
Net: +$12.67.
Lesson: bought put = paid tuition. Wheel = SELL only.
Monday: 2 new positions.

Day 2 of learning options trading.
Two sold puts already in profit: SOFI +$17.70, MARA +$5.00.
Options expire tomorrow. Both in the green. Not selling early letting them expire worthless and keeping full premium.
Also bought a put by accident on NU lost the premium. Turns out BUY and SELL are different things. Who knew.
Lesson today: always double-check BUY vs SELL before confirming. Paper trading is the best sandbox lose $52 instead of $5,200.
Day 1 of learning options trading.
Started paper trading the Wheel strategy — sold two cash-secured puts:
• $17.50 Put on SOFI ($17.83)
• $11.50 Put on NU ($13.61)
Both expire Friday. Demo account, zero risk.
The Wheel: Sell Put → collect premium → if stock drops, buy shares at strike → sell Call on those shares → repeat. Simple loop, premiums every week.
Why these two? Both under $20 = fits my small account budget. SOFI is fintech with high liquidity, NU is Brazilian fintech up +17% in a month.
Rules: delta 0.20-0.30, 7-14 day expiry, no leverage, only stocks I'd hold for a year, 20-30% cash reserve.
Lessons so far: check earnings before selling, don't chase highest premium, paper trading first — real money later when I understand the cycle.
Not trying to get rich. Just learning the system. Follow along.

Systematic trading isn't a skill, it's a personality trait. Divide, rotate, execute. No emotion, no prediction, no narrative. The edge isn't knowing where price goes it's never needing to know.

Most traders are missing this: Bitcoin just touched $63.5K, but history flashes a clear warning.
While this weekend marked a 2-week high, Monday trading sessions have a historically "terrible" track record for BTC. Expect sudden volatility as the weekly close shifts into the traditional market open.
