@ATinyGreenCell You definitely have to ask “if this policy gets implements, what does this person gain.”
You can’t hoard the gold and still be the knight in shining armor.
@LinkedInHelp I mean this is sort of just a UI gripe, not specific to my account or a literal error. Thanks though- happy to share my thoughts for a consultant fee :)

We describe a fundamental principle of how clonal expansion shapes DNA methylation landscapes. We use this to detect clonal hematopoiesis - a major risk factor for cancer & CVD. ☄️is mutation-agnostic & scalable: https://t.co/Tl2MeUPeXg🧵👇
@tangming2005 It should be noted that domain knowledge should supersede this point, and an appropriate housekeeping gene should be selected *for that experiment*
If you are doing a glucose challenge in glucose-responsive cells, it's okay that GAPDH changes.
Not Antibiotics? Not Corticosteroids? Not Chemotherapies? We used to quake in fear of fatal infections and aggressive cancers....
I'm not saying that GLP-1 agonists aren't important, but calling them them "the most important drug class breakthrough in history" is sensationalist.
The GLP-1 drugs are the most important drug class breakthrough in medical history. We're still learning how they have such broad impact, especially about their anti-inflammatory effects, systemically and in the brain

A brief overview:
1) We conducted a 24 hour glucose challenge for human pancreatic islets
2) Over those 24h, we profiled major islet celltypes using scRNA-seq
3) We nominated genes involved in insulin production and secretion and profiled four of them using CRISPRi
