@fletcherkathy8 @JCCWilliams @PhilipPullman That's actually an important point - but if a large amount of cis women don't know if they have a cervix, neither will some trans men and some afab nb people. Using 'woman' instead of 'people with cervixes' does not circumvent the problem you describe.

@JCCWilliams @PhilipPullman No-one is calling you a "menstruator" as a replacement for "woman". You are a woman who menstruates. Not all women mentsruate. Not all ppl who menstruate are women. It is just used in health leaflets when it is important to refer to specifically to ppl who menstruate.
