During lockdown I have witnessed my 3 kids experience amazing remote learning from expert teachers. These teachers from our local public school are dedicated a care deeply about the learning and wellbeing of every child in their class. #publiced@NSWEducation@nswppa
This is about way more than a pay rise: it's about making sure there are enough teachers, with enough time to properly educate our kids, in the right schools. @TeachersFed's new campaign launched today - to show your support, please sign their petition: https://t.co/WfjWEFqCI7
Every time I get a notification it's one of those in case you missed thingimejigs. It's almost like you need to tweet stuff to get real notifications. Who would have thought? 😂😂😂
The @TeachersFed has been vindicated. Our analysis was correct from the start. The union stood strong, often alone. LSLD was nothing more than shifting blame from govt to schools, cuts to funding and staffing. The work is ahead of us to rebuild the system.

The world’s billionaires have more wealth than 60 percent of the planet’s population. This is no accident. The rich are rich because the poor are poor.
@rugby_podcast We got pumped. Not because of the team or combinations. 18 years in a row and before that was slim pickings. Rugby's culture is the problem. A kid might play till they're 12 and then their club team struggles to keep players. Makes it hard to grow beyond the traditional base.
The APST are such a let down for teachers striving to be accomplished in the classroom. The higher levels predominately call on us to lead other teachers. What if we just want to be an awesome teacher? Surely there needs a level between Prof and HA @aitsl#HALT
@aitsl I've often heard this claim. But this isn't the point of my post. Expert teachers should have descriptors to work towards that are purely about the work we do in the classroom and communities. We are proficient early in our careers. Unless you want to lead that is where it ends.
