Thanks to the Ontario Health Coalition and their counterparts from other provinces, labour leaders and Indigenous groups.
When Ford is trying to distract the public with fights over Toronto bike lanes, remember he could instead be strengthening our economy & improving our lives by investing public $$ into Ontario’s public health care. #ONPoli

Universal healthcare is who we are as Canadians. It’s one of the things that sets us a part from the U.S. and we should be proud of that. Let’s keep it strong and make sure it serves everyone, in every region. It’s our heritage, our legacy and something we should all be proud of.

‘@SylviaJonesMPP who was in the hot seat for most of question period, said unexpected closures happen when there’s not enough staff to keep the ER safe. She then questioned if @MaritStiles wanted to ignore those safety measures’ @Thetrilliumca
Who’s the ignorer-in-chief ??🤬
"Considering that we're hemorrhaging staff in our hospitals, how can we afford to spend $9.2 billion over a decade on outside agencies and not be able to afford improvements to compensation, but also to things like on-site child care to retain staff?"

The ED at Thessalon is closed today until tomorrow morning. The only ED in the 142 km from Blind River to Sault Ste. Marie open is the 1 bed facility on St. Joseph's Island. The Ontario government has a responsibility to staff this facility to maintain public safety.
Ontario is now reporting more cases of measles than the entire United States.

Anytime now, @fordnation.

Hallway health care is in the news again—because it’s still happening.
59% say the government has not delivered on its promise to end it. Patients are still being treated in hallways. Doctors are stretched thin.
This election, demand action. Health care can’t wait. #ONpoli
