@MibshaD I am a hopeless history buff. Agnes Sampson, a Scottish midwife and first woman to be burned at the stake for witchcraft, in 1591, had used her supernatural skills to relieve the pain of labour. The dominant belief was that pain relief in labour was sinful.

@GaryWri1112999 @piersmorgan I work with victims of sexual crimes. Rape increase is driven by greater willingness of victims to come forward, including historic cases, alongside improved recording practices and addition of new online sexual offences. It is nowhere perfect but v slowly improving.

@e_galv When a teenager says ‘everyone’, it is shorthand for their immediate peer group or specific crowd whose opinion matters to them the most. Approx 15-20% of people are neurodivergent in some way, meaning they process information differently than neurotypical people.

@AntSpeaks You are making assumptions, none of them based on fact. You assume she lives in Notting Hill or Kensington. W London is a diverse area, one street can be full of expensive properties with a council estate a few streets further. I have lived in East London, I never had any issues
