@pompeyjones92@TheSquareBag@curtiz58@EssexAllianceFL Yes as in my previous response they started at Parsloes park Dagenham from august- Jan then moved over to Redbridge. I attended both venues during the season where Phillip were the home team at both grounds which for a groundhopper was quite a pleasent surprise 🤣
@ped1980@EssexSenior@ThurlowNunnL it is very similar to the other teams across the other leagues that are unfairly placed in incorrect leagues due to geographical issues.
@ped1980@EssexSenior@ThurlowNunnL its certainly odd! I feel for the teams that follow the rules and criteria. It should be fair for all and not one rule for one and one for another, it takes the fun and competition out of the game when a team is given special treatment over another.
@TheSquareBag@curtiz58@EssexAllianceFL I attended one of their last games of the season and was told by a couple of their management staff, spectators aswell as staff from the ground. Harlow is a great ground, only been once but i quite liked it, so nothing wrong with playing there, but it doesnt follow NLS rules
@ped1980@EssexSenior@ThurlowNunnL how can you be given special dispensation when you put in your application in December and your first game at your ground isnt until 17th Jan? The rules have to apply to all teams! #fairisfair
@EssexAllianceFL@NonLeagueHQ1@NonLeagueCrowd@ThurlowNunnL How can Phillip be promoted when they didnt follow the NLS ground requirements of playing at your ground for a whole season? They only went Redbridge in Jan? And they are at Harlows ground next season....
Great day in the sun today, at the amazing ground at dagenham & redbridge! To my shock got here and was told there were 2 cup finals herr today.....so there was no travelling to different grounds for me today! just a nice pint and some good footie
@petermiller36@NonLeagueHQ1 Surprised i didnt receive a reply after the information i gave? Again seems like unfair politics are in play- teams not abiding by the rules should be withhdrawn! otherwise theres no point in having rules and regulations in the first place
Off to Canvey island for the first time to watch the play off semi final between @RayleighTownFC1 & @ASlondonfc .......bet the conversations and whispers will be about why it was delayed.
Chatting with players & managers after games, the topic is always mentioned about league fines and how some clubs dont have the finance to cover these aswell as the fines issued by County FA.....so if a league goes against rules should they reimburse clubs?
I am fining the league £1000 as I may now miss the play off finals if not played in time as I’m away on my honeymoon. We get fined for lateness all the time
Still confused as to why a league awarded points to an abandoned game against the advice of their county FA after a hearing? I always thought that clubs followed league rules, but leagues had to follow County rules? #grassrootsfootball#nonleaguefootball
See this and actually thought it was quite funny! I have been to watch many games at many grounds- its true you forget about the work that goes on behind the scenes when your a spectator- Massive respect to any grassroots volunteer! 👏
Warning - Don't get married to a grassroots coach.....
▪️Your car will have nuclear grade smells of wet mud, used bibs, boots and shin pads. Granted you will become accustomed to these smells, but you will have to justify the stench when you're giving a work colleague or family member a lift. 🤣
▪️Your car will also have zero space for passengers, let alone your big Tesco shop. 😉
▪️Evening meals on training nights will resemble a formula one pit stop or it will be warmed back up at 9PM. 😜
▪️Life, including work and holidays will be planned around the football season. 💪
▪️Holidays will be cancelled if you book early and subsequently you're in a cup final. 🏆
▪️Your hallway, conservatory, shed, etc will have their "spare coaching gear" ⚽
▪️Your life will be taken over by fixtures, tournaments, presentations, trophies, team kit, water bottles. 🤯
We're sure our followers will let you know some more reasons in the COMMENTS below.
But if you do get married to a grassroots coach, welcome to the family, we were only joking it's the best thing you'll ever do.
So this apparently is the reason behind a play off being changed...still no explination from the league or county FA for the fans and groundhoppers who rearranged their personal lifes to attend the game
Does this mean that the @ThurlowNunnL is in the wrong in playing one semi final on different dates ? @EssexCountyFA@FA especially as there's a team that hasn't fulfilled there fixtures ?
@petermiller36@NonLeagueHQ1 Then based on my notes i watched them again (only 1st half) on 29th November against AS Rapid Londra. I had to check the essex alliance website for the final score and this was the write up showing their home win at parsloes
@petermiller36@NonLeagueHQ1 That was the write up from the essex alliances website for their week 4 review- that was the first home game i attended of phillips.
@petermiller36@NonLeagueHQ1 I watched them on 3rd september which was their home game at parsloes park as it was a ground i had never been to before.
I then visited the same ground a few times to watch other teams before christmas and they were there completing their home games.
