This Forbes investigation is a must-read.

Donald Trump pulled in roughly $1.4 billion from crypto in 2025, plus more than $200 million from real estate, and faced a projected tax bill north of $500 million. So his company donated the "development rights" to his Jupiter, Florida golf course to a land trust, argued the course was a natural habitat worth protecting, and kept right on running the club. Forbes estimates the write-off could land around $825 million.

He has done this at least five times since 2005. New York's attorney general alleged two of those appraisals were inflated. In Doral, he claimed a deduction of up to $323 million, more than double what he paid for the entire resort.

A month after the Jupiter deal, he sued the IRS. The settlement his own Justice Department signed bars claims against him over matters that "could be pending," language that appears broad enough to cover this year's taxes. A federal judge found the case was brought to manipulate the judicial process. And the man now running the IRS, who took the job as this deal was being assembled, has a home backing onto those same Jupiter fairways.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody should be able to use the presidency to write his own tax bill.

Starlink/Starshield restrictions on Ukraine remain in place even after President Trump reportedly directed a resumption of full service.

SpaceX must restore full service immediately. And Congress must find new partners to ensure Elon Musk and SpaceX do not execute a veto over U.S. national security.

[Mike Nellis @MikeNellis]

I hate to ask this, but is Trump talking about making a porno with a bunch of military guys here?

What the fuck is he talking about!?

[Senator Patty Murray @PattyMurray]

Trump is weaponizing America's Department of Justice to argue that elections can only be certified if Republicans win.

This is historic corruption, but he doesn't get the final word. We do at the ballot box. VOTE!

🚨 BREAKING: Let me make this as clear as possible for this dickhead @EricLDaugh:

Ilhan Omar, did not marry her brother. This is debunked by the simple fact that under U.S Immigration Law, siblings can sponsor one another for residency status and a green card — negating the need for @IlhanMN and her brother to commit fraud by getting married if he really were her brother.

INA § 203(a)(4) / 8 U.S.C. § 1153(a)(4):
"Qualified immigrants who are the brothers or sisters of citizens of the United States, if such citizens are at least 21 years of age, shall be allocated visas in a number not to exceed 65,000, plus any visas not required for the classes specified in paragraphs (1) through (3)."

Astonishing.

I've been tracking Trump admin corruption and self-dealing for the last 20 months.

Here are 10 stories (!!!) from just the last three weeks.

Literally. Every single one from October.

[Tim Grieve @timgrieve]

We stand behind our story.

Prior to publishing, we asked the State Department, in writing, to respond to allegations that “employees are being directly asked who they voted for in 2016, 2020 and 2024 before they receive promotions, and are told directly that if they have any history of donating to Democrats that they will not be eligible for the role.” The State Department did not in any way deny that those incidents occurred. Instead, it said that the department values “fidelity,” that it “will not tolerate . . . people using their positions to actively undermine the duly elected President’s objectives,” and that it prioritizes “merit and reward[s] demonstrated performance on behalf of Administration priorities.”

After the story was published – and after members of Congress raised concerns based on the story – the State Department gave additional comment denying the “premise” of our reporting. We published this after-the-fact statement in full. And since publishing, we have heard from additional sources familiar with top State officials asking foreign service officers about their voting and political contribution histories.

Donald Trump is letting big companies off the hook — and the American people are paying the price.

#BREAKING: Charles Blow: No one in all of media is dealing with this in the proper way. The Muslim Brotherhood is almost 100 years old. Do you know when the United States classified them as a terrorist group? Earlier this year. Donald Trump did it. There have been 10 presidents between when she [El-Sayed’s mom] supported them and now. Not a single one of them, Democrat or Republican, decided to deem the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group. Do you know how many terrorist attacks on American soil the Muslim Brotherhood is responsible for? Zero. But if we’re gonna say that children are responsible for their parents, Donald Trump’s dad was was arrested at a Klan rally in Queens in 1927. Are we saying that Donald Trump is responsible for his dad’s actions? 😳

3/3 The Pentagon has not disclosed what control its contracts with SpaceX guarantee. A senior Pentagon official I spoke to last week said they didn’t know. If Musk can throttle an ally’s battlefield network on his own, that raises real questions the Pentagon hasn’t answered.

.@AndrewFeinberg — the journalist who Donald Trump growled at earlier this week before calling him a “sick person” and saying “I think there’s something really wrong with you” — was just removed from the WH press pool for simply doing his job. This is unacceptable.
