Can't stress enough that just doing tariffs will 100% NOT lead to a manufacturing boom. Trump is missing the entire second half of the equation which is industrial policy. The government would need to do huge subsidies. He's currently slashing government spending and axing the CHIPS act which would've added 115,000 manufacturing jobs!
