@StallionSama but with different positions there will be different instructions and I can tell you already, it’s going to be glitch galore. And tactics that are now fine could become overpowered with unrealistic custom formations.
Even "funnier": Do they actually think investing a lot of time is free?
Disappointed by EA again! Football/FIFA fans deserve to get treated so much better.
Hopefully there will be other bidders for the FIFPro rights/licenses in a few years and we get some competition.
1. EA is clearly denying "pay2win" in FIFA esports. 🤣🤣
2. Telling people to trade when their cheat detection is terrible and banning innocent people (like @RunTheFUTMarket).
If they don’t even see/admit these issues, we will have to wait for a looong time until things change.
Must read: EA’s official response to the mirror when asked about pros having to spend money to try compete: “you can acquire all items without spending money”. They also suggest “just as in real football pros should learn how to trade and get better at economy monitoring.”
@StallionSama If EA can make flawless tactics, it would be fantastic but unfortunately you have to be realistic here. If the community finds something broken, it takes ages until it gets addressed or even patched by EA.
@StallionSama I’m all for adding more tactics (attacking and defending formation too for example) but the past has showed us that custom tactics are reducing the skill gap and broken glitches will be found and exploited by the community.
The fact that there is a BLACK MARKET in the first place is obviously a huge problem, make these icons accessible! If you've got 15 million and can't buy them then these shady things are going to happen... @EAFIFADirect
The bad thing is, there's tonnes of proof, and it all looks very consistent.
2 Icon Moments for €1000
3 Icon Moments for €1400
3 Icon Moments + 2 TOTY for €1700
There's so many sources, so much evidence.
This is gonna get ugly for some of those EA employees, bye bye.
Rumors are going around that there’s an EA employee selling top tier icons (untradeable) for ≈$1000 each.
It just further proofs that competitive FIFA should NEVER be played in a gamemode where the competitors can buy an advantage.
"Pay2win" ≠ a fair competition!
Huge congrats to @VfL1848eSports for winning the Virtual Bundesliga north-west division! Incredible hard working team behind the scenes and very committed to esports.
But the most important thing would be a spectator mode. It would be nice to watch pros from the actual FIFA game without them needing to stream it and potentially have a worse connection. It’s a massive gamechanger for coaching too.
And with a spectator mode there could be the option to let "selected friends" watch the gameplay via their own game. This could be used for coaching and broadcasting and would be a massive game changer for online FIFA tournaments.
We can’t have major title updates days before qualifiers and different gameplay at events and qualifiers! But EA can’t just focus on the small competitive minority!
Therefore we need a FIFA esports game. There are so many possibilities especially for the broadcast.
I think FIFA has reached a point in time where an esports mode is required. The amount of good players that now play need to be separated, and currently can’t be clearly enough from the vanilla gameplay.
Div 2 and above and weekend league played on these settings.
@_MrDoorey I agree but Swiss Format needs some massive adjustments before being implemented again. It’s still better than just double elimination though.
Fast attacking football needs to be more rewarding in FIFA! Watching players break down a deep sitting defense isn’t really entertaining.
Even from the skillgap perspective I would say that fast gameplay has a much bigger skillgap than slow build up gameplay.
