Our demo of Dark Souls: Nightfall is finally on Nexus Mods! ๐
Thank you everyone for your responses so far! Demo updates will mostly be minor fixes, but your feedback has already been incredibly useful for polishing the full release of Nightfall. :)

The add-on puts a color tint on everything so I can easily see what's DONE (green), TODO (red), WIP (yellow), and TODO-SCENERY (purple).
It also lines up my next TODOs and stops me from being able to accidentally select anything marked as DONE ๐
Looking forward to 2026!!!
Alternating my time between event/character scripting and the final in-depth pass over the entire world of Nightfall.
I've created a new Blender add-on that tracks my progress on every Map Piece, Collision, and Navmesh object.
74% of Map Pieces are DONE ๐
Dark Souls: Nightfall preview! ๐
Animating is a ton of work, but I think brand new enemy attack timings are one of the biggest things we can offer to make Nightfall memorable.
Name ideas welcome...
So my honest question to all you very patient people: what sort of updates can I give you about Nightfall, and how often, etc., that wouldn't contain (much) spoilers?
Asking for help! And very open to ideas. ๐๐

Posting updates about Nightfall is a very real struggle for me.
It takes a huge amount of mental effort to make an update that isn't just "still working on it" but also doesn't contain spoilers.
I'm sorry! And also: still working on it!

But the Nightfall genie has long been out of the bottle, so this (lack of) update strategy just sucks for many of you.
It's also complicated because the scope transformed completely after Elden Ring came out and we unlocked true map modding.

This fun fact brought to you by my attempts to figure out why the 3D model for the entire starting cell was refusing to load in Blender for Dark Souls: Remastered ๐คก let it be known that these flies will finally be restored in Nightfall
In Dark Souls, there is a swarm of flies hovering over the "straw" in the corner of your starting cell.
Well, there's supposed to be. The 3D model for these flies is corrupted in DS: Remastered.
You can hear them, but they're only visible (barely) in PTDE if you look closely.
Fun fact: the entirety of Blighttown, as far as I can tell, is built from scaled copy/pastes of these ten bits of wood.
(today's fun fact is brought to you from Grim's cave, where he is working on Nightfall almost every day and isn't allowed to leave until it's done)

Sorry for the delay in responding to your commission requests, folks - I've been hit with pneumonia immediately after getting back from an overseas trip and it's not a fun time. Will be back in the saddle soon I hope ๐
Soulstruct for Blender now has 95% support for Demon's Souls!
You can import, modify, and export FLVER models, collisions, navmeshes, and complete MSB files to your heart's content -- including the cut Northern Limit map ๐
UPDATE: I've removed 2.1.1 and replaced it with 2.1.2, since I accidentally broke some stuff for every other game while adding support for Demon's Souls ๐
Don't forget to run ALL of your code tests, folks...
Huge thanks to @ArianeC7150 for commissioning this expansion to Demon's Souls! Hope it's useful ๐ฅฐ and I'll fix any bugs as they come up.
