Good and swift job by Singapore, as always, to prevent foreign interference creating issues between communities and creating hatred for Indians using social media.

This Modus Operandi by China and Pakistan to create hate against Indians and India in every country using social media has long been left unchallenged by India.

Even in this case, a small Singapore seems to have taken action ordering social media companies for the benefit of Indian community. We did not hear India taking action on its own.

The apathy on this by India for so long is costing India and Indians a lot. There's a requirement for a social media monitoring and rapid response cell that works with SM companies, various ministries, and embassies world wide.

Don 3 was announced on August 9 2023. There were still working on the script. Nothing was ready. Ranveer waited for a year.

Farhan himself was to do Sitare Zameen Par which Aamir eventually did. Farhan took up 120 Bahadur a home production.

Dhurandhar shoot began only in mid 2024. Easy to dump the blame on Ranveer when Farhan never kept his part of the promise ie for a bound script agreeable to both.

Lol no. Law doesn’t work on conjecture or vibes. It works on negotiated terms. Contracts LIMIT liability for artists to prevent exploitation which is exactly what’s happening here. Artists are NOT required to carry production risk, producers are.

Also, it’s 100x more unprofessional to sign someone for a movie in 2023 keep them hanging for three years, fail to solidify a script by 2026, the female lead quit, the villain quit (Vikrant specifically cites creative differences just like Ranveer) the only person extending any kind of grace to this clusterfuck is Ranveer himself who can legally curbstomp Farhan any moment he decides to go to court. Anyone with sense would have quit by now, but then Farhan decided to weaponise institutions to impose anti-competitive unconstitutional bans just to arm-twist an artist into working for him.

To reiterate - neither has Ranveer accepted any signing money nor does Farhan actually want compensation. According to Ashok Pandit the objective is to make Ranveer work on this clown ass film that literally no one in the industry wants to do. Farhan can stomp his feet all he wants but no one buys that someone who has a noted history of not paying his technicians is suddenly concerned about their livelihoods.

Also even if Farhan did experience some loss (regardless of the fact that it grows by 5cr every week) he has to establish proximity. Losses must be attributable to the breach, not arbitrary or punitive - meaning that the entire 45 crore loss needs to be specifically because of Ranveer. The chances of him being able to establish this in court is slim to none. Given that according to FWICE, Ranveer didn’t even take any signing money, Farhan should have had the sense to accept whatever compensation Ranveer was willing to pay because Ranveer owes him fuck all. Now he’s going to get dragged to filth by both the court of public opinion as well as the literal court of law. (Also if Farhan was so confident of his righteousness he’d have gone to court - not used his contacts FWICE to ban Ranveer and not used FWICE to arm twist Ranveer into working for him)

Whether it claims to speak for over 5 lakh or 50 lakh workers , the brutal truth is that most of those lakhs don’t even know the internal facts of the two parties dispute

FWICE is neither a court of legal justice nor a government authorised regulatory body , and at best it’s a kangaroo court , which by definition pretends to deliver justice , but in actual fact it disregards established legal rules, due process, and impartiality
That is because the verdict is often decided in advance by a group of a specific agenda oriented people meeting privately including actors who are scared shitless with the mega success of @RanveerOfficial in Dhurandhar

This will be a massive PR Disaster for FWICE because It is screaming in desperation while at the same time demonstrating its outdatedness

To start with proving it’s lies , lakhs of workers livelihoods in the industry are never tied to any single actor or any individual project , and so it is a big lie that they are trying to dump on the social media to create an attrition

At the heart of this whole matter is a producer claiming massive pre production losses , but that is just a private contractual dispute between two parties like it happens in millions of cases all the time and all over india in all businesses and then where are the relevant FWICE ‘s there ?

Also only the disputing parties will know the intricacies about what happened , and so the matter should be between them like any other civil matter , and in case one or both appeal to a court , the judge decides the matter
And as per their claims , if it is also about the principal technicians whose time and effort was wasted, then I challenge any of them to individually come forward with proof and publicly blame @RanveerOfficial and take a stand never to work on his film again for the distress he caused

And in the matter of the said producer being so wronged , the truth is that , it is not the FWICE ‘s lakhs of workers , but it is the other producers in the industry who should not want to work with @RanveerOfficial

And here we arrive at the main point that everyone in their heart knows including the disputing company , and for that matter even FWICE , that If @RanveerOfficial simply nods a yes , there will be a one kilometre long queue of producers outside his house tomorrow morning with cheques ready

Ashok Pandit also said Ranveer hasn’t taken a single penny for this film. Yet multiple reports stated that he was willing to pay a certain compensation as goodwill. They went and demanded 45crore, (first they demanded 40 and then there was another random 5cr increase). They have not established how that 45 crore loss is attributable exclusively to Ranveer. Who are they to decide quantum of damages? Ranveer was right to reject their jurisdiction, he was never going to get a fair hearing here.
