Serena is a senior at Penn and will be joining @PennNGG next fall to pursue her PhD! She has been working with @lkf0919 in the lab studying the role of lysosomes in oligodendrocyte maturation!
@caelalong is a 4th year @PennNGG student, and a wonderful scientist, mentor, and peer. Her project is titled “Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) inhibits oligodendrocyte differentiation in vivo.”
Join us on March 8 at 11 AM EST for our next seminar!

So excited about this new publication from the Lyons lab that reveals surviving oligodendrocytes can contribute to remyelination in the zebrafish, though newly-generated oligodendrocytes do so much more robustly! Congratulations @SarahNeely18, @lyons_lab.

How do axons pattern their nodes of Ranvier? Well, one way is by telling myelin where to stop growing. Latest work from our lab! Thanks to @dfg_public. Shout out to @St_Vagionitis and @Franzino4
