you can look up all the numbers and you will find them roughly accurate.

gdp is 100*5 = 500, 5 times greater than norways
Italys defence spending is 2.1%
500*0.021 = 10.5.

I mean it's just basic math if you have a population of 10 and every person creates a value of 10 your nations gdp is 100.
3.8% of that (norways share of gdp going to defence) is
100*0.038 = 3.8

@Luca27125188 @FrenchResponse differences in population size and therefor gdp heavily skew nmbrs like this, for example Indias gdp is 4.505 trillion but they have a per captia gdp of 3,051. meaning if they would have had Italys gdp contribution it would be dwarfing italy actual contribution but not per person

@Luca27125188 @FrenchResponse Norway has more than twice the gdp per capita compared to Italy and it spends almost twice as much of it gdp compared to Italy. So every norweigan pays 4 times as much to nato than an Italian does.
you can't just look at the total amount because of population size difference.
