@mec_au_fusain Haha ya I WOULD NOT suggest it. And I’d use glaze not lean pt for that same thinned out look or mix in cold wax for matte.

@mec_au_fusain Ya. And I saw another saying it’s all just dry time and it KINDA is but layering is going to also affect the surface quality so if u stack lean on top you’ll get matter or more dissolved texture over slicker/shiny which is not always ideal. Imo but can be used to an advantage

@mec_au_fusain (Sorry to clarify so your layers would ideally be paint w medium mix (50/50) then fatty straight paint (w or wout bit of medium), then medium paint again w less solv. Many painters mix based on resistance/drag against surface too.
