This is one of our biggest updates yet, and we’re excited to walk you through everything that has changed, what’s new, and why we made these improvements. Let’s break it all down!

🎮 YOUR NFT IS NOW A REAL DEFENDER
───────────────

If you hold a Grizzle Junkyard Defenders NFT, it's no longer just art sitting in your wallet, it's a real, playable unit in Dumpster Defense.

Connect your wallet, open Dumpster Defense, and you'll see a new "Your NFT Defenders" section above the regular crew shop. Every NFT you own shows up there, with its own look and its own weapon, pulled directly from the actual artwork.

We went through all 222 NFTs in the collection (thanks to @CrystaraMarkets for the support) and matched each one to its correct weapon using the collection's real trait data, so what you see in-game genuinely reflects what your raccoon is holding in the artwork.

Place an NFT Defender just like any other crew member: pick it, tap an open spot. It's free to place (you already own it), and it fights alongside your regular crew for the whole match.

This isn't a snapshot or a manually updated list. We built a system that reads directly from the Supra blockchain and re-checks ownership every minutes, automatically. Buy, sell, or trade a Defender on @CrystaraMarkets, and it'll show up correctly in Dumpster Defense within minutes, no action needed on your end.

⬆️ PERMANENT UPGRADES WITH XP

(This is an interesting part)
Every NFT Defender can be permanently leveled up using the XP you earn from playing, Trash Bash, Crew Match, Dumpster Defense, all of it.

Each level adds +15% damage and range, up to Level 5 (+75% total). The cost rises as you go:
Level 1: 50,000 XP
Level 2: 100,000 XP
Level 3: 150,000 XP
Level 4: 200,000 XP
Level 5: 250,000 XP
(750,000 XP total to fully max one Defender out)

"This upgrade is permanent and tied to the NFT itself, not your wallet". That means if you sell an upgraded Defender, the upgrade goes with it, a Level 5 NFT is a genuinely stronger, more valuable item on the secondary market than an un-upgraded one of the same weapon. Grinding XP into your Defender isn't just a flex, it's real value.

📈 XP ECONOMY OVERHAUL

We raised the ceiling across the board:
• Daily XP cap: 100,000 → 1,000,000 (10x)
• Per-run caps raised to match in every game, so the new daily cap is actually reachable with normal play

And on the other side, enemies across Dumpster Defense got tougher for everyone. This isn't a holders-only buff; it's a genuine difficulty increase. A strong crew, especially one backed by upgraded NFT Defenders, actually matters now.
