Ego gets the best of people from time to time, how could it not when he had the season he had before it all went to his head, maybe time in Barca helped him through it but that post doesn’t suggest he’s a better professional for it, shame, the kid could have been a club legend

What didn't Manchester United do for Marcus Rashford? Even when his performances became inconsistent, the club never completely gave up on him. The idea was never to push him out. The strange part is that the attitude he has shown elsewhere is exactly the attitude that would've helped him at Manchester United. He worked hard. Kept his head down. Accepted his role. The irony is that if he showed that same attitude at Manchester United, there would still be people inside the club willing to welcome him back. Not as the star. Not as the face of the project. But as a player willing to earn his place again. The path back was never closed. The conditions just changed. And sometimes in football, accepting that reality is the hardest part.”
