Eleanor is cooking vegetarian ‘bolognaise’ as part of a class project this week and she asked if she could incorporate some of the wonderful fresh herbs from the @GrowSopwell community garden. So after our weekly visit to replenish the bird feeders, we collected a little Rosemary, Thyme & Sage to help flavour the dish. Feedback to follow. . . 🌿
In more interesting news for daddy, the wildlife on show all points to a thriving ecosystem, including signs of a visit from muntjac deer 🦌 🐾

We held our annual stakeholder open day & invited local organisations & groups to learn about community rail, our community rail partnership and shared ideas on how we can work together on projects / events that will continue to link our local railway & community.
We’re gearing up for our latest event this Tuesday when we’re showcasing all our efforts over the last year and looking ahead to future projects.
This is all about growing, sharing and eating together. A chance to celebrate our gardening successes with friends old and new.
This Saturday, just turn up: 11.30am workshop on growing fresh salad leaves over winter. Or from 10.30am for general working party #growtogether

This week the #Foodbank could really do with donations of tinned vegetables and fruit.
Every donation goes to help local people struggling to afford the essentials - thank you 😊
