A glimpse of the inaugural session of the Script Development Workshop for Grade 8 Mathematics, organised by the Media Production Division, CIET-NCERT, from 10–14 March 2026.

During the session, Prof. Rajendra Pal, Head of the Department, emphasised the process and approach of educational scripting in alignment, highlighting the importance of creating learner-centric and conceptually rich content with the vision of NEP-2020.

The five-day programme is being coordinated by Dr. Jaganmohana Rao Gurugubelli. Throughout the workshop, the resource persons will collaboratively develop engaging, activity-based scripts aligned with the Grade 8 Mathematics textbooks developed by NCERT, aiming to enhance teaching and learning through digital media integration.

The valedictory session of the 5-day workshops on the Development and Vetting of Scripts and Storyboards for Virtual Labs (Hindi & English, Classes 6���8) and Educational Audio-Video Script Development in Physical Education & Well-being (Khel Yoga – Class 4), Science (Curiosity – Class 7), and Mathematics (Ganit Prakash – Class 7) was held at CIET–NCERT from 22-26 September 2025.

Experts from SCERTs, DIETs, Govt. Schools, KVs, RIEs & Sarvodaya Schools collaboratively developed 200+ scripts and storyboards aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023 to make learning more engaging and experiential.

CIET-NCERT conducted a workshop on 'Script Writing for development of e-contents for Grade-6 Mathematics textbook (Ganita Prakash)' from 21 to 25 August, 2024, in face-to-face mode.

Twenty-one participants from different organizations actively participated in the program.

The workshop was designed to provide orientation on the vision of NEP-2020, NCF-SE-2023 and Grade-6 textbook of Mathematics (Ganita Prakash), the process of script writing and how to develop engaging and interactive e-Contents.
