An absolute headache but the alternative is to present in an a&e in another eu state while on “holidays” and use the European health insurance card

@mcalibby @HelenORahilly I’m living in Portugal and I worry about even visiting Ireland due to medical issues. The healthcare both public and private are leagues ahead of Ireland. My last surgery the nurses were asking why I hadn’t gotten my surgery in Ireland “the wealthy country”.
