🔵 CHARGES LAID 🔵

District 6 patrol members have arrested a man & a woman after receiving reports that several Costco store locations were defrauded of more than $30,000 over a period of approx. 3 months.

📍 On Friday, April 24, 2026, police were contacted after reports of an unknown woman was suspected of making a series of fraudulent purchases at multiple Costco stores in Calgary & the surrounding area.

Police began investigating & determined that between Thursday, April 9 & Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the woman had repeatedly used fraudulent or altered UPC codes assigned to lower cost items to obtain high-value electronics including desktop computers, TVs, gaming consoles & sound equipment.

It is believed an unknown man also participated in making fraudulent transactions with the woman.

On Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, police executed a search warrant in the 0 to 100 block of Cornerbrook Manor N.E., & both suspects were arrested and the following items were seized:

🔷 302.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine with a street value of $6,048
🔷 Digital scales & packaging materials consistent with drug trafficking
🔷 Multiple instruments used for forgery & fraud, including:
🔹 Credit card manufacturing equipment
🔹 Credit card scanners
🔹 Card skimming devices
🔹 Credit cards that appeared to have been altered
🔹 31 credit cards
🔷 A stolen 65-inch Samsung television
🔷 2 receipt printing machines
🔷 Various other items believed to be stolen & false identification documents

📌 As a result, Kristie Marie CONSTANTINOFF, 41, is facing 70 charges & Aaron Lee HEAD, 39, is facing 119 charges.

They are each charged with 12 counts of possession of identity documents, 31 counts of possession of stolen credit cards, 9 counts of possession of property obtained by crime, 2 counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking, 1 count of possession of instruments for copying credit card data or forging and falsifying credit cards & 1 count of possession of stolen property.

CONSTANTINOFF is scheduled to next appear in court on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026.

HEAD is scheduled to next appear in court on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026.

🚨 Another masterstroke of precision in Gaza

Israeli forces just “surgically” struck a water desalination plant in Al-Sheikh Radwan, north of Gaza City. Palestinian reports say the plant (and a nearby mosque) took the hit— the same small facility that was actually giving people drinking water in a neighbourhood already turned into rubble.

Brilliant strategy, really. When civilians are already scraping by with almost no clean water, the perfect next move is to blow up one of the few things still producing it. Because nothing says “imminent threat” like a desalination unit trying to keep displaced families from dying of thirst.

The ITF insists it hit a weapons depot. Palestinian sources describe a water plant and mosque after the usual warnings. Either way, the people on the ground get the same result: even less water in a place already living through a manufactured water crisis.

But sure, keep calling it self-defence. Keep insisting the ceasefire is being respected. Keep pretending that systematically destroying the basics of survival is just “targeting infrastructure.”

Water is life. Apparently that makes it a legitimate military objective these days.
