Just a PSA because people don’t seem to get it: unless they directly asked you, there is never a time when it is ok to tell someone you would “prefer” if they looked different. You can have all the preferences you want but keep them to yourself unless someone fucking asks.

Sometimes discrimination isn’t evident and outspoken. On the contrary, it is often silent, connected to gatekeeping, and alienating.

"Every day, she works in a man's world. Every night, she dances through the universe that is her dream. What a feeling. When the dancer becomes the dance."

Saw a meme that said the tagline from the #1 box office movie the day you were born determines your fate, and I love mine.

“The most dangerous Bond. Ever. Living on the edge. It's the only way he lives.”
-The Living Daylights, august 3 1987

What’s yours?

If I had to sum up the Italian food landscape in a couple of sentences, I'd say Garibaldi forgot to unify the cuisine when he made Italy, and we're still sorting this shit out.

@MrsMilkyEth @CloudyBay @worldofwomennft @NFCsummit That's wonderful!

@AlexPea34695104 @WaiotapuNZ You can keep the sass, all of the other businesses we have visited today were equipped with alternatives 🤷

[Grumpy Sommelier 🇳🇿🇮🇹 @GrumpySommelier]

Great management from @WaiotapuNZ . THEIR internet is down so THEY cannot accept credit card and EFTPOS payments. Cash only.

You don't have cash? YOU have to fix THEIR situation by somehow getting cash out.

Fantastic management.

[Grumpy Sommelier 🇳🇿🇮🇹 @GrumpySommelier]

@Here4AJackNohe @WaiotapuNZ Exactly, such a single point of failure is embarrassing in this day and age.

[Grumpy Sommelier 🇳🇿🇮🇹 @GrumpySommelier]

@AlexPea34695104 @WaiotapuNZ That's utter bullshit though, I have worked in retail and in NZ specifically for a long time, there are PLENTY of plan Bs that as a business you can put in place.

- zip zap machines
- ATM machines
- mobile EFTPOS machine & cellular data

Just a few.

[Grumpy Sommelier 🇳🇿🇮🇹 @GrumpySommelier]

@ChampRockwell @garyvee That it's a nice flex
