Thanks @EFischberger for a more accurate report. EVERYONE who comes in/out of Israel (every country for that matter) has passports checked & routinely asked security questions. Even ME going in/out with Diplomatic Passport & Diplomatic Visa.
Democrats like @DA_LarryKrasner using this kind of disgusting rhetoric are not only encouraging violence, but also politicizing the millions of people killed during the Holocaust by the Nazis.
Our ICE agents are enforcing our nation's laws, & this rhetoric from @GovTimWalz, & now Krasner, is gross.
These incomprehensible and immoral statements comparing law enforcement to Nazis — made just one day after International Holocaust Remembrance Day — undermine the memories of the real victims of the Holocaust.
American law enforcement are heroes and should be commended as such.

Ignorance like this cheapens the horror of the Holocaust. Anne Frank was in Amsterdam legally and abided by Dutch law. She was hauled off to a death camp because of her race and religion. Her story has nothing to do with the illegal immigration, fraud, and lawlessness plaguing Minnesota today.
Our brave law enforcement should be commended, not tarred with this historically illiterate and antisemitic comparison.
In a small place that few Americans know about, a pro-Trump democratically, elected conservative president is being DISQUALIFIED from holding office by an unelected globalist bureaucrat from the EU & a rigged court
for the "crime" of honoring a sacred Christian saint & celebrating a day of ethnic pride because, they say, those actions offended the Muslim majority in Bosnia. The endless persecution of Dodik is reminiscent of the same fake RUSSIAN COLLUSION & other fake crime narratives used against President Trump, Me, Rudy Giuliani & others who dare to challenge the elites. Wake up, America!

President Trump Appoints New Council Members. -The Museum welcomes President Trump's new appointments to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council https://t.co/AMB6QdAN2K
US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he has appointed Betty Schwartz, Fred Marcus, Rabbi Pinchos Lipschutz, Sid Rosenberg, Ariel Abergel, Barbara Feingold, Alex Witkoff, and Robert Garson to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.
"This Council has the important task of preserving the memories and stories of the loved ones whose lives were robbed in one of the darkest moments in History. NEVER FORGET!" the President wrote.
The Council, established by Congress in 1980, is responsible for overseeing the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., and guiding the nation’s efforts in Holocaust remembrance, education, and the ongoing fight against antisemitism. Members are appointed by the President and serve terms supporting the Museum’s critical mission of preserving memory and combating hatred.
Mazel tov to my friends Robert Gerson and @Alex_Witkoff on this incredible appointment. As the grandchild of Holocaust survivors, seeing leaders like you gives me confidence that the memories will be preserved and “never again” will truly mean never again. I’m certain you’ll do an amazing job!
Getting punched in New York City for being Jewish has basically become normal.
No one talks about it. Most of it doesn’t even get reported.
You just see someone holding their face, shaken up, and that’s it.
It’s almost like we’re expected to just deal with it.
There are no headlines. No media coverage.
It’s not “newsworthy” unless there’s a video.
Even then, maybe it gets posted for a day, and then it’s forgotten.
But this happens all the time.
Daily, honestly.
You’re wearing a kippah and you are a target,
Walking home from shul, picking up your kid, just living your life.
And here’s the part no one wants to admit:
We are a minority.
We live with the disadvantages of being one—vulnerability, isolation, fear—
but none of the protections.
We’re not treated like a minority. Not when it matters.
Not when we’re getting attacked on the street.
We see how people rally for others.
How non-citizens getting deported will get marches, petitions, media storms, and politicians outraged.
But when Jews are assaulted in broad daylight,
all we get is a tweet. Maybe.
A statement from someone’s office that no one even read nor knows where to find it.
It hurts, not just physically, but emotionally.
Because we’re good people, we really are.
We’re part of this city. We help keep it running.
Our communities have some of the lowest crime rates anywhere.
We build, we give, we show up.
But when we get attacked, no one shows up for us.
No press conference. No viral movement. No outrage.
Just silence.
You start to feel like maybe our lives just don’t matter to people.
That’s a horrible feeling to sit with.
But it’s the reality.
This is what it’s like being visibly Jewish in New York City right now.
And we’re tired.

The Commissioner General of UNRWA apparently disagrees with its General Counsel. “The host State is free to determine that, whether because of a belief that its sovereignty is prejudiced or for any other reason, the operations on its territory must cease.” - Opinion of the General Counsel of UNRWA, March 30, 1968 https://t.co/Vx1rB9JABa. As we celebrate Passover with family and friends, we are reminded of the Israelites' exodus and journey and a renewed hope for the remaining hostages to be freed.
From our tables to yours, we wish you a peaceful and meaningful seder. Next year in Jerusalem!
