This morning 3 chicks had hatched by the time we came to school and as we go home there are now 6. Hopefully on Friday we will be able to have a little chick cuddle.

Matthew from 'And Albert' came to do a whole school assembly and a workshop with Year 3 and 4 as part of Fairtrade Fortnight. We had great fun having a go with the different instruments he brought in.
We have been reading lots of fairytales in Year 1. Today we enjoyed acting out The Enormous Turnip - we heaved and pulled with all of our might! So lovely to be able to enjoy the sunshine. โ๏ธ๐
Year 5 have started their new text: The Hunter. To help us write an explanation of why Jamina (the main character) wants to be a hunter, Caroline and Scott sat in the hot seat!

A lovely relaxing morning in Year 1 doing some painting. We learned about Georges Seurat and the technique of pointillism. It is very tricky painting with dots because you have to go slowly and concentrate. Stay tuned for the finished result. ๐๐จ

Mrs Cawley came to school to visit everyone today with baby Eden. Both are really well and everyone staff and children were very excited to see them both.
