Greg Sabin

Father, Husband, Machinist, AI enthusiast, Gamer.
I run Swiss style multi-axis CNC machines, and work with my Hermes Agents.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@ChebzReal @JadeMistGaming I make no excuse. I steal nothing. You cannot point to a single thing that I stole.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@Elyrium42 @JadeMistGaming And I respect that.
Everyone has their preference. What I've been trying to gesture to is that if I hand a customer a finished part off of my CNC machine, they don't care what generated the code.
Different industries, different sentiments.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@NordicBoa @JadeMistGaming I mean, I hand programmed an 11 axis swiss machine this week. Felt pretty good about it.

Didn't insult anyone today either. Felt pretty good about that too.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@zenjah @JadeMistGaming Nope.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@zenjah @JadeMistGaming Because the people cringing at it trigger so easily

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@zenjah @JadeMistGaming I am not being mocked for defensively inserting anything because that's not my game.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@itsalaughingman @Kuroku__Kizz @JadeMistGaming Very well put. TL;DR: if my parts are bad, the customers don't pay

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@Kuroku__Kizz @JadeMistGaming I'm making pins for a contactor for a data center right now. They don't care if I have passion while cutting Inconel.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@JadeMistGaming You finished with, so I assumed your point was that me using AI somehow gives manual programmers a bad rep because I'm too lazy to learn the craft myself. Except I did learn the craft, and I'm telling you that if you don't use AI in this field, you're going to get left behind.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@Rep_Walkinshaw @elonmusk This is going to be good. 🍿

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@Daamianski I saw this coming and immediately executed on a build. I couldn't afford a 5090 then, and I damn sure can't now.

@NOLA_Radical @AmiriKing This is what i think of when i think of community biker gangs. Guns, drugs, and bbq cookouts for charity.

Dear @elonmusk I need your help 🇺🇸

This happens EVERY music video.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@nemui_nekoooo It's starting to happen at my work. Instead of these guys looking for speeds and feeds for the different tools in their machine, they just give, say, ChatGPT a tool list. Then it all just comes out in a nice, clean format, and they're all really happy.

[Greg Sabin @Gsabin86]

@OddStockTrader Because down force equals traction.
Traction equals not crashing due to losing traction.....
