The Kaduna State Project Management Unit (SPMU) is actively participating in the ongoing, high-level NEWMAP-EIB Capacity Building and Project Implementation Readiness Workshop taking place in Asaba, Delta State.

It has been an incredibly engaging and knowledge-driven week for our team. I had the privilege of leading the Kaduna SPMU delegation at the high-level NEWMAP-EIB Capacity Building and Project Implementation Readiness Workshop in Asaba, Delta State.
As NEWMAP-EIB smoothly transitions from preparation to full implementation, our team is moving forward equipped with world-class tools, technical expertise, and institutional knowledge.
Organized under the joint mission of the Government of Nigeria (GoN), the FPMU, and State Project Implementation Units (SPIUs), this workshop is powered by the European Investment Bank (EIB) framework and fully supported by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

Moving from intensive practical sessions to deep-dive interactive engagements
Running from May 18 to May 21, 2026, this critical 5-day mission brings together representatives from 23 participating states, the Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU), and world-class environmental, engineering, financial, and monitoring & evaluation experts from UNOPS.
