@AllyTaft @StudentRentPro This is a great comment. I loved my years at Murray St and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. That being said, it didn’t cost me $30k a year to attend college. Is the juice is worth the squeeze, maybe not, unless you have $$. Goto a big city and get similar with less debit.

@StudentRentPro The company that brings in fresh fish to the schools is the craziest. Many schools have the best pizza ovens you can buy and hire some of the best up and coming chefs. So the food.. is really impressive vs what I ate back in 97.

@StudentRentPro As a custom fabricator who does a lot of work at the universities, I would say this is highly probable.

They are already offering higher end food than most restaurants. Fish flown in from Alaska, etc.

@wirecutter I’m on my 3rd groove ring via the replacement policy. No complaints.

I would not call silicone rings durable though. They last me about 18-24 months before they start to crack and fail.

Regardless, still more comfortable and weightless vs metal. Never going back.

@STLChrisH Chris - would you say that reflects working 2000 hours per year or with OT?

Had a tradesman tell me - yes I make $, but I work a lot of extra hours to make it.

+ trades get paid for OT where salaried employees likely don’t.
- you have to lvl up to make more in less hours

@mwmoedinger As a custom food service fabricator. We have have our process and “crazy” leadtime so we can make our product look built in. My best clients get us involved early so we solve issues. Everyone else ignores us and they wonder why things don’t fit.
