@TheBTCTherapist Every "market" there's buyers & sellers. so there will always be a supply. Retail demand is driven only by potential appreciation not utility / income. Value of BTC to holder is zero absent price increase. To obtain benefit of appreciation requires selling creating supply.

@jvs_btc I think there are business entities around the world, what are they called again, anyway you can buy BTC and they hold it for you. Oh yeah they are called Exchanges! CryptoSlate should research them, a very interesting concept where you can buy & sell BTC without taking custody.

@jvs_btc ETFs Ultimately bad for BTC ecosystem while removing supply may increase price short term. Good New as ETF buyers see higher returns than BTC in Crypto Space this may serve as a Catalyst for them ultimately enter space to buy Altcoins not available on Wall Street in the future.

@jvs_btc ETFs holding BTC = BTC taking Off-Chain Likely Never to Return = All Buy/Sell ETF transaction are Off Chain Generate fees for Wall Street = Less Rewards for Miners. Easier access to ETF = Less incentive for Buyers to enter BTC Ecosystem = Less On-chain Adoption = Weaker Network.

@IamRamenPanda HODLing as an "investor" has many flaws at least for those with time / attention to actually be "in" the market. HODLing promising assets now in anticipation of them running later as they bleed as opposed to placing same funds in assets showing strength now makes no sense.

@TheBTCTherapist But if you are offered BTC through an ETF you discover nothing... but rather are for the most part only looking at the potential returns. ETF allow the masses to benefit from BTC appreciation without the underlying education that was part of the network effect of the ecosystem.
