Was 2023 => 2015 or 2015 =>2023 - My answer is each flood is unique, one cannot compare one with another, the field dynamics, rainfall distribution and end boundary conditions (tide / storm surge) are not the same and the urbanization in that 8 years all needs to be factored

The rumour that a cyclone is coming next week towards Chennai is baseless. Kindly don't believe in such msgs. There may be some UAC / Low Pressure Area in the Arabia sea around 10th and that will move away from the Indian Coast. This will have nothing to do with Chennai.
