Inspired visit to the GTC Football Academy in Guwahati!

This residential academy with 22 talented U14 boys in a scenic facility adjacent to the ACA Cricket Academy. A fantastic setup for young talent to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

The project is the vision of BCCI Secretary & GTC General Secretary Shri Devajit Saikia @lonsaikia

Deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Mukut Das, former First-Class cricketer of Assam, at the age of 72 last night. As a dependable all-rounder in 14 Ranji matches, he also served the Assam cricket with distinction as a coach for winning the All-India VM Trophy consecutively in 1993–94 and 1994–95 & also Madhavrao Scindia Trophy in 1994–95 under his tutelage.
Many memories with Mukutda as he was my coach too in VM, CB Trophy State matches, and, also in playing for the same team during my short stint in NF Railways between 1989-91.
A huge personal loss as he was my source of encourage ment and guidance.
My heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family members and cricket fraternity. Will immensely miss ‘The Player & The Gentleman'.
