Egypt tried to delete this footage... but they couldn't.
1 For educational purposes only. Never climb the pyramids. Always respect historical sites.
In 2016, an 18-year-old from Germany, Andrej Ciesielski, did the unthinkable:
he illegally climbed the Great Pyramid of Giza and filmed the entire ascent on a GoPro.
He waited for the perfect moment, slipped away from the crowd, and started climbing the 146-meter ancient monument. Halfway up, Egyptian police spotted him and threatened him with up to three years in prison.
But he kept climbing.
At the summit, he filmed a 360° view almost no modern human has ever seen. When he came down, authorities detained him immediately and forced him to delete every photo and video.
But here's the twist:
He later recovered all the "deleted" footage after returning home.
And what happened next?
🇵🇾He received a lifetime ban from Egypt.
📷His footage went viral worldwide.
He continued climbing skyscrapers and monuments, becoming one of the most controversial "rooftoppers" on the internet.
Illegal? Yes.
Dangerous? Absolutely.
But the story became one of the wildest moments in modern Egyptology.
Some moments are unforgettable... but this is one you should never trv vourself.

@NIKHILLJHA Marginal increases is due to non availability of GST input tax credits. Earlier the GST input credits was set off with GST collected on premium. Now individual policies exempt from GST, the tax credits not available hence it’s become cost to the company & passed on to consumers

Indian freelancers and tech founders try to avoid income tax by shifting to Dubai.
Dubai has 0% income tax on personal income.
So, if you shift to Dubai, can you skip paying tax in India altogether?
Here’s what the law actually says 👇🧵
Non Resident Indian - NRI who has sold MF in India can pay Zero Capital Gains
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) can potentially pay zero capital gains tax on mutual fund (MF) investments in India if they are tax residents of countries with a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) with India that includes a "residual clause" under the capital gains article (typically Article 13).
This clause states that gains from the alienation of assets, other than immovable property and shares, are taxable only in the country of residence of the seller.
Since mutual fund units in India are structured as trusts, not shares, they often fall under this clause. If the country of residence does not levy capital gains tax, NRIs may face no tax liability.
Based on recent rulings, such as the Mumbai Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) decision in the case of Anushka Sanjay Shah, NRIs from the following countries may benefit from zero capital gains tax on Indian mutual funds, provided they meet residency requirements (e.g., obtaining a Tax Residency Certificate and spending sufficient time in the country, typically 183 days or more):
- Singapore
- United Arab Emirates
- Mauritius
- Netherlands
- Portugal
- Spain
- Cyprus
- Kuwait
- Qatar
- Hong Kong
Conditions to comply:
- Tax Residency Certificate (TRC): NRIs must provide a TRC from their country of residence to claim DTAA benefits.
- Residency Status: The NRI must qualify as a non-resident under Indian tax laws (staying in India for less than 182 days in the financial year) and as a tax resident of the DTAA country under its domestic laws and Article 4 of the treaty.
- Form 10F: In some cases, NRIs must file Form 10F with the Indian Income Tax Department to claim DTAA benefits.
- Mutual Funds Only: This exemption typically applies to mutual fund units (equity or debt), not shares, as mutual funds are structured as trusts under SEBI regulations, distinguishing them from company shares.
Caveats:
- The ITAT ruling is not a Supreme Court decision and could be challenged by Indian tax authorities.
- NRIs must comply with the specific DTAA provisions and local tax laws of their country of residence.

This song sung by Mohammed Rafi angered Pakistan. At that time, Pakistan requested the Indian government to ban the song, and the then Indian government agreed to their demand and banned it. This is a rare song — High chances that you might have never heard of it before.
