This same logic you’re busily spewing now was not available between 2022 and 2024 ? We had a then presidential candidate say the same thing Gen buhari said and it was met with applause
Iran is an oil producing country with heavily subsidised domestic fuel. Ghana doesn’t produce and refine enough petroleum to insulate its pump prices from international crude prices, exchange rates, freight, taxes and local market costs.
So no, we don’t need to “share a border with Iran” for a war in the Middle East to affect fuel prices.
The better question is: how much of Ghana’s pump price is actually attributable to the Iran war, and how much is taxes, exchange rate movements, margins and other domestic costs?

The Chief Justice has no right to hide behind the dignity of his office after choosing to make partisan political comments. If he wants to speak like a politician, he must be criticised like one. He has laid his bed. Now he must sleep in it and endure the scrutiny he invited.
