@BarelyRealCAZ Hey, yes, Google has removed it because I haven't been updating it for a while.
I want to eventually update it and bring it back up, but I dont have a timeline for doing that.
@Sharkcrome@Vynnyal I implemented gif importing, that should come out on the next release (check the roadmap for any news on the next release: https://t.co/PCobqt0ABa)
On seeing the file before loading it: the next version will use the native Android file picker and a new file format.
@KevlokD Hey Kevlok! I'm currently working on an update that should fix the biggest outstanding bugs when sharing files on modern phones. Keep an eye on the roadmap Trello board! https://t.co/PCobqt02LC
Finally got my racetrack generator to a playable state, definitely my proudest project. A few issues with clipping and UV stretching but still happy with it😆 #gamedev#unity https://t.co/RTbV99ZfIX
@Sag3Zer0 Hey Dan! I love your interest in it, but I unfortunately don't have the time to port it over. I recommend trying out @aseprite on the surface, as it's also a great editor and has support for opening Pixly projects.
@MelloKenStories Hey! It's blurry because the gallery/shared app is trying to upscale it as a photo, not as pixel art.
Try opening it on a computer with another art editor, or use https://t.co/ab8PSVFTz1
@Vynnyal Hey! Thanks for the words, I'm working to finish the new import/export system and the new file format, it's kind of the biggest change in this update! Sorry for the delay, it's going to be ready eventually, I'm usually only having time to work on it a few days a month...
@mario_fts I see why people like python and JavaScript, but honestly I treat them like the plague for this exact reason!
JS is even worse because most of the time you'll have no idea it's not working properly, until it blows up.
@EnpaceMila Wow! First time I've ever seen that!
Looks like your GPU ram got corrupted somehow?
Pixly frames are stored in the textures in the GPU, if the phone runs out of vRAM, then things like this might happen.
I'll check further, but can't promise this is fixable on my end.
@EnpaceMila Aaaaand I just created this ticket to take a look at the issue you just mentioned: https://t.co/GhVcnB854F I never noticed it, since the Pixel only has a teeny-tiny bar, as it has gesture navigation instead of buttons.
@EnpaceMila I'm also fixing a bunch of stuff during my free time, and am about to release v1.8.
If you want to check what I'm currently working on and vote/comment on tickets, take a look into the trello board https://t.co/8OC3NFAhAS
A few weeks ago I implemented a simple shadowmapping solution to try as a replacement for shadow rays during GI RT-ing. This got me thinking about ways to mix shadowmap and raytraced shadows. I wrote a blogpost documenting some quick experiments. https://t.co/MpkfKAl7rx
