@LauraBabcock Question:
How is it Polilievre’s fault when all of his motions are outvoted by a “majority-fabricated” liberal government?
Canada’s failure as a once prosperous country is the result of many years of liberal policies.
Prove me wrong.
So you are for Canadians keeping the free healthcare?
And by “free” you mean that you don’t pay to see a doctor right?
10 to 15% of your paycheck goes to fund the “free” healthcare.
Do the math, calculate that amount and divide it by the number of times in the year you need to see a doctor.
Or take that same amount and ask for a private healthcare quote to get full coverage in the USA.
I’ll wait…
Just do a little research…
Mark Carney is the former chair of Brookfield Asset Management (BAM). He resigned from his corporate roles on January 16, 2025, to pursue the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada. Following his successful leadership bid and swearing-in as Prime Minister of Canada in March 2025, his ongoing connection to the firm is primarily financial.
Current Financial and Ethical Status
While he no longer holds an operational or advisory role at Brookfield, Carney's past ties remain a subject of significant political and ethical debate:
Financial Interests: As of late 2024, Carney held approximately US$6.8 million in unexercised Brookfield stock options, which do not expire until 2033 and 2034.
Blind Trust: Upon taking office as Prime Minister, Carney placed his investments, including any remaining Brookfield holdings, into a blind trust.
Ethics Screens: He operates under specific conflict of interest "screens" managed by senior public servants like his chief of staff and the Clerk of the Privy Council. These are designed to prevent him from participating in government decisions that could specifically benefit Brookfield or its subsidiaries.
Calls for Divestment: In April 2026, Parliament's Ethics Committee recommended that he be required to sell his investments in Brookfield and other companies to eliminate ongoing financial conflicts of interest, rather than relying solely on a blind trust.

@tvanouvelles Votre recherche de Sensationnalisme devient de plus en plus difficile.
Allez vous sortir le fait que ses sous-vêtements en coton affectent son confort testiculaire?
Vous êtes simplement ridicule @tvanouvelles
All but one of your statements are true.
The « Free » hospital one isn’t true.
It’s not free when you give 10% of your paycheck to the government to pay for the medical services for everyone.
Calculate what you give to Healthcare in 1 year.
Then divide that amount in how many times (if any) that you actually needed healthcare services.
Now let’s say you don’t pay for healthcare but keep your money and get a personal health insurance for the same amount. You’ll have an excellent private healthcare.
Let that sink in.
@tvanouvelles Comme dit le vieux dicton, « vaut mieux être seul que d’être mal accompagné… »
Je préfère de loin être avec un leader qui passe aux actes que d’être dirigé par des politiciens vendus au FEM et l’OMS.
WELCOME TO THE NEW « MANUFACTURED » CANADA!!!!
A country where the people who are in power bought their way to that majority!!!
If that majority is built after the election through defections (floor-crossing), then you’d describe it more precisely as:
•“a majority government formed through defections”
•or “a manufactured majority” (more critical phrasing)
They tell you to vote but they don’t care how you vote…

Once a nice and safe place to live in.
Once a deep feeling of being proud to be Canadian.
Once a flag worn with pride and dignity.
Now a deep feeling of betrayal.
Now looking at it and being ashamed.
Now going for a walk and feel like you’re the one that doesn’t belong here.
A country where the majority government wasn’t voted democratically.
(still waiting for by elections of floor crossing members)
Giving away 50% of your hard earned money to the government so that the services you « benefit » will help you.
The feeling I have right now is comparable to this:
I buy myself a brand new 96’’ TV.
But the tv doesn’t have a remote, a power cord nor any electrical components inside. But the TV salesman has a 200’’ projector with a Cinema like sound system.
Really looking into a way of moving out.
@JohnBouras3230 Yep. And for all the wrong reasons.
Back in school, you either had the star athlete who was popular or the weirdo who was known for his stupidity…
Carney is not an athlete so…
🚨 Is Carney compromised by China?
266-0
That was the vote:
Every single MP agreed China is committing genocide.
Including Liberals (Cabinet abstained).
Now, “our new government”:
Signs a deal with Beijing.
Chinese-born, Liberal MP, calls the evidence of forced labour in China “hearsay.”
Global Affairs erases “forced labour”.
Carney won’t face the press.
Beijing calls it a lie.
Ottawa says nothing.
Either this government is compromised or it has made a calculated decision that Beijing is worth more than human rights.
Both are disqualifying.
All the evidence is outlined, in detail on https://t.co/FQPGSiqNfd
@Mikeggibbs Oh for fucks sake.
That’s just a dumb, stupid, idiotic post.
That event is a tragedy.
Have some decency and respect for the families that have lost a loved one.
That post for blaming Trump for anything that happens is again a flagrant failure of your Left/Liberal ideology.
